UMF has partnered with KidsPeace to launch a Muslim Teen Portal on TeenCentral.Net.
This Muslim Portal is based in UMF's Virtual Mosque on Faith Street and provides anonymous, safe cyberspace, where Muslim Teens can post their concerns and receive guidance from Muslim Youths, trained informally to counsel.
The website is professionally monitored by experts in psychology as well as Muslim administrators.
UMF Guides is an exciting, one of a kind project that aims to empower youth, by providing them experiences and helping them explore how they can make a difference using their knowledge, ideas and skills, working together as a team as they build a strong Muslim American identity. 2 of our UMF Guides even made it all the way to the National Muslim Spelling Bee in Chicago in 2013! This year, we're learning all about the Animal Kingdom and our responsibility as stewards of the Earth.
